Founding member of airline (employee # below 150). Member of team that launched website www.virginamerica.com for initial "out-for-sale" i.e. first started selling air tickets to the public.
Manage a team of approx. 40 that spans across the entire airline application development and maintenance disciplines including teams responsible for the web, kiosk, QA, internal corporate and mobile apps, API platform services, software architecture, ETL jobs and automated processes for the web, frequent flyer loyalty program integration, FFP exchange, among others.
Own 24/7 3rd level support of all internally developed applications to triage business critical failures.

Handle all the day to day business and financial aspects of the software development team including project management, planning, budgeting and recruiting.

Covigna was acquired by Proquest Business Solutions in 2005 which then got acquired by Snap-On Business Solutions in 2006.
Designed, developed, test, deployed and customized Covigna’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) enterprise software based on customer needs and requirements.
Managed all day-to-day operations of the Covigna Professional Services development team and Off-Shore support team including resolution of all customer support calls or tickets.

Designed and built BroadVision dynamic portal and e-commerce web sites using J2EE and other web technologies. Architect several high-powered web sites with integrations to external and legacy systems. Managed and mentored development teams through entire development life cycle.
Development lead for State of California web portal project (http://www.ca.gov), former BroadVision flagship site. Assisted in project scoping, phasing, planning, resolving technical issues and guiding project team to a successful launch. Site voted “Best of the Web”. Guided the project from design phase through development to production applying BroadVision best practices.
Migration lead for Agilent.com K2 project (http://www.agilent.com), former BroadVision flagship site. Involved with planning, execution and testing at all phases of migration effort. Involved with performance tuning efforts and successfully tuned site using BroadVision’s persistent cache technology.
Developer on Bio-Rad.com e-commerce web site (http://www.bio-rad.com). Integrated BV to Clarify for back-end order fulfillment. Built all the literature product section of the site including shopping cart, login, user registration, content management/display and order fulfillment logic. Created Verity search collections on BioRad’s literature products, catalogs and categories and built respective pages for accessing these collections.
